FUME CUPBOARD REGULATIONS
All DENIOS fume cupboards are designed in accordance with current regulations, including EN 14175 and COSHH. To ensure ongoing safety and performance, we also support our customers with servicing options, including airflow testing and filter replacement schedules.
Key safety and performance considerations:
Face Velocity - DENIOS systems are designed to achieve safe, stable face velocities while maintaining user comfort.
Airflow - depending on your requirements, fume cupboards can be designed as either Constant Air Volume (CAV), or Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems.
Maintenance and Testing - to comply with COSHH Regulations, fume cupboards must be examined at least every 14 months. DENIOS offers service plans to support inspection, airflow validation and filter management.

FAQS: FUME CUPBOARDS
A fume cupboard is a ventilated enclosure that extracts harmful vapours, gases, or dust at the point of origin to protect users. It uses directional airflow to pull the contaminated air through filters and release it safely - ensuring compliance with COSHH and EN 14175.
Configurable models are quick to deploy, modular, and available in 36 sizes. Custom designs are ideal when you need specific materials, filtration types, compliance (e.g. ATEX, GMP), or non-standard dimensions.
DENIOS cupboards are made from powder-coated steel, stainless steel, or corrosion-resistant coatings. You can integrate sinks, gas, air, electrical outlets, and other media connections.
