What are PyroBubbles®?

PyroBubbles® is a granulate with a grain size of 0.5 - 5 mm, which mainly consists of Sicilium dioxide. They are not flammable, electrically insulating and have only a low thermal conductivity. This makes PyroBubbles® the ideal filling material for transport and storage boxes for lithium-ion batteries.

As a tested extinguishing agent, they can be used particularly well to combat liquid fires. The melting point is 900 ° C, then they form a closed layer around the source of the fire.
